Stop the Damage Before It Spreads

Structural Repair & Waterproofing

Spalling brick, cracked stucco, and peeling paint aren't just ugly—they are urgent warning signs of water infiltration. If left untreated, moisture trapped behind your walls will cause structural rot and dangerous mold growth.

Empire Painting provides specialized exterior restoration services throughout New Jersey and NYC. We don't just paint over problems; our licensed crews perform deep masonry repointing, EIFS stucco repair, and high-performance elastomeric waterproofing to fully seal the building envelope.

The Empire Advantage

Why Choose Us for Restoration

Advanced Waterproofing

We use specialized elastomeric coatings that are highly flexible. When your building shifts with temperature changes, the coating stretches instead of cracking.

Root Cause Repair

If paint is peeling, water is getting in somewhere. We trace the moisture to its source and repair the structural defect before we apply any finish.

Safety & Compliance

Exterior restoration often requires working at extreme heights. Our crews are fully insured, highly trained in safe rigging, and strictly adhere to OSHA standards.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Elastomeric coatings are much thicker than standard acrylic paint and are highly rubberized. They are designed to expand and contract up to 300% with the weather. This flexibility allows them to bridge small cracks in stucco or masonry, completely waterproofing the surface while remaining breathable so internal moisture can escape.

Absolutely. We never paint over rotted wood. Our carpenters will cut out any decayed fascia boards, siding, or window trims and replace them with rot-resistant materials (like PVC or treated wood) before we caulk, prime, and paint.

Generally, brick and mortar should be inspected every 10-15 years, though high-exposure walls may degrade faster. If you see crumbling mortar, deep gaps between bricks, or white powdery stains (efflorescence) on the surface, you need repointing immediately to prevent structural water damage.
